Melba Fritsch Peterson passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017, just a month before turning 95. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Fritsch and Cecilia Sequin Fritsch. She is survived by her children, Philip Peterson, Mary Gaconi, Shirley Oestriecher and loving daughter Sandra Readeau, whom took care of her to the end. Melba is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren. Melba worked and retired from Wembley Tie Company after 20 years of service. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Graveside Service on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA.
