Nathaniel W. Carr was born January 16, 1961 to Lottie Carr and the late Johnny Frye. The doors of heaven opened and God called his wonderful and loving service on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in Jefferson, Louisiana. He was a dedicated worker for Jefferson Parish Parks and Recreation for many years, but then went on to work for the City of Kenner Recreational Department where he worked for over 12 years. He enjoyed family functions, vacations, listening to music, watching movies at home, and going to the movie theater. God knew exactly what he was doing when he blessed his family with this amazing man but decided 56 years later, it was time for him to take his wings.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Monday, May 29, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, La and the visitation will begin at 9:00 am until service time.
