Working in healthcare, you meet patients that touch your heart. Mrs. Mercedes was one of those people for me. I had to privilege of taking care of her for the last few years, and I don't think she ever realized how much she actually cared for me. I've struggled with the decision to go bak to nursing school, and move. Mrs. Mercedes pushed me to do my best, but made me promise to come back from Alexandria to take care of her. Her sense of humor was unmatched, it didn't matter how bad she was feeling she would always find time to give me a hard time and make me laugh at the same time. I can't express how my heart broke into a thousand pieces when I got the call on Wednesday. My heart goes out to Mrs Missy, Mr Baracco and family. I have nothing but the best memories and you will be immensely missed.

Rest in peace Ms. Sis. I know your in heaven with maw maw Shirley playing cards and bingo now. You were a beautiful lady inside and out with a heart of gold. You bought me my first dancing outfit when I was a little girl. You were always such a kind and nice lady. Miss you already. ♡

Praying for peace & comfort to the family of Mercedes Baracco. We were honored to have met her last week in her last hours of life on this earth. She displayed her true sense of humor even though she was so ill.
