Cassie Lynn Allen died unexpectedly after a brief and minor illness on Thursday, September 14, 2017.  She was born in New Orleans on September 1, 1985.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Barbara Lottinger Allen and Joseph West Allen, Jr.   She is survived by her daughters, Alyssa Rae Allen and Alexis Lynn Rein; her parents, Rae Lynn Allen (fiancé Ty Gancy) and Joseph West Allen, III; her grandparents, Nancy Nicoletti and Richard Wong; and her uncle, Fr. Kenneth Allen. She is also survived by a host of family members in California; special friends: Jeff Rein, Drew Bankson, and Bobby and Rhonda Mercadal, and numerous loving friends. 
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA.
The Funeral Services will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church, 444 Metairie Rd, Metairie, LA 70005 on Friday, September 22, 2017, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am, a Rosary at 11:00 am, Words of Remembrance at 11:45 am and a Funeral Mass at 12:00 Noon. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA immediately following Mass.
