Angelica Chavarria passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the age of 86. She was born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras to the late Enma Gálvez y Miguel Calderón. Beloved wife of the late Manuel de Jesus Chavarria Sr. Loving mother of Martha Luz Chavarria Galvez, Manuel Chavarria Jr. (Marta), Jose A. Chavarria (Ana), Dilcia Vasquez (Roberto), Oscar A. Chavarria (Letty Rodriguez), and Hector R. Chavarria (Yolani). Angelica is preceded in death by 2 siblings and survived by 4 sisters and 1 brother.  She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass being held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr. in Metairie, LA.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum located in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
