William E. Laderer

William E. Laderer, Jr. entered into his eternal home with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the age of 92. He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. Laderer, Sr. and Estelle Kerner Laderer; his siblings: Roger Laderer, June Laderer McIntire, and Walter Laderer; and his grandson, William E. Laderer, IV. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Camille Tastet Laderer; his children: William E. Laderer, III (Rhonda), Melissa Laderer O’Malley (John), and Janelle Laderer; his grandchildren: Noelle Laderer, Jolie Laderer Foucheaux, Sarah O’Malley, Matthew O’Malley, Quinton O’Malley, Jordan Wursteisen, and Parker Wursteisen; as well as 6 great-grandchildren.
William was a longtime resident of Harahan, LA and a dedicated parishioner of St. Rita. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1954-1955 and retired in 1990 from Curtain Matheson Scientific. William has been an active member at Manresa for 41 years. He was also a member of American Legion Post 397 and was a former member of the Italian American Marching Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at St. Rita Catholic Church, 7100 Jefferson Hwy., Harahan, LA 70123 on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Visitation will begin at 1:30 pm with a Mass starting at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA 70001.
