Wayne Julius Couch

Wayne J. Couch, Sr. passed away peacefully Saturday, January 16, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. Couch and Norris Wild Couch, in-laws, Leroy and Rita Bordelon, and brother, Dennis Couch.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Diane Bordelon Couch; children: Danielle Bodin (Robert); Wayne J. Couch, Jr. (Angie); Blake Couch (Tara); D’Neil Figuero (Robert) and Darren Bordelon (Katie); grandchildren: Heather Guillotte (Jeff); Kaitlyn Faul (Tyler); Olivia Couch; Mila Couch; Morgan and Ryan Figuero; Caleb and Logan Bordelon; great grandchildren: Grace, Camryn, and Tyler; brother, Mike Couch (Jonelle); sisters: Linda Fortado (Harold); Cynthia Poret (Ross); Candace Duke (Earl); Pamela L. Sinopoli (Joe); Debra Melady (Johnny); sister-in-law, Carol Couch; brother-in-law of: Debra Bordelon; Gary Bordelon (Margaret); and Jerry Bordelon. Also, countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Wayne was quite the active 75-year-old man, he loved to fish whenever possible and enjoyed his weekly bowling league. He truly lived his life for his family, but especially his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Due to current State restrictions the services are limited to 150 people and face covers must be worn. A Memorial Mass will start at 1:00pm.
