Velma G. Boudreaux

Velma Marie Guidry Boudreaux passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the age of 92 years. She is survived by a niece, Sherry Normand Neil and a nephew, Donald Normand. She is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Joseph Boudreaux; her parents, Julien and Edna Naquin Guidry; a sister, Marie Normand; and two half-sisters, Rose Naquin and Celina Pinell; and one niece, Connie Rodrigue. She had numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Journey Hospice for her care and especially her caregiver, Cindy Neil for taking care of her until the end.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
