Valerie L. Dragon

Valerie Loze Dragon passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, LA. She was 83. She was a legal secretary, a notary public and the longtime owner and operator of Eastbank Auto Title Transfer Co., Inc. in Kenner, LA. She was the devoted wife of 53 years to the late Louis Clarence Dragon and the loving mother of Donald Louis Dragon, Darrell Christian Dragon (Sherri), Diane Dragon Pierce (Reid), Devin Michael Dragon (Robyn) and David Paul Dragon (Regina). She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Corie Johnson (Bruce), Daniel Dragon (Candace), Leslie Kastner (Larry), Sarah Latiolais, Stephanie Balderson (Bryce), Seth Dragon, Sayge Dragon, Miranda Lacava and Jeremy Dragon; eleven great grandchildren; a brother, William James Loze (Becky) and her niece and godchild, Jennifer Shoop.
A private service was held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA. She was laid to rest next to her husband in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in St. Rose, LA.
