Thomas Jacob Dupree

Thomas Dupree, 80, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018 in Metairie, La. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Donna Jolley Dupree; his stepchildren Todd Carson (Dawn) and Tracy Wright; seven grandchildren Ian Wright, Owen Wright, Ethan Wright, Carlo Pizzolato, Ashley Swafford, Justin Carson, and Evan Carson; and one sister Patricia Dupree Couch. Also survived by two nephews, Randy Gaddy (Carol) and Rickey Gaddy (Beverly), the Jolley family of Pell City, Alabama and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Ory Edward Dupree and Louise C. Dupree and two brothers, Gerald Dupree and Donald Dupree.
Thomas retired from CyTec Industries and was employed by Sure Logix at the time of his passing. In his spare time, Thomas enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and camping with his wife. He was an avid season-ticket-holding Saints fan and enjoyed watching the game with his grandson. He will be remembered as a great friend and will be loved and missed by all that knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr, in Metairie. Visitation will be held prior to service beginning at 10:00 am and will continue until noon.
