Thelma Evelyn Taylor

Thelma Evelyn Taylor passed away on Thursday June 2, 2022 at the age of 94. She was the beloved wife of the late Edgar A. Taylor, Sr. for 71 years with whom she 4 children; Charles Taylor (Rhonda), Patricia Taylor Bruno, and the late Edgar A. Taylor Jr and Bruce Arthur Taylor. She was the devoted grandmother of Susan Eilers (Parrish), Dawn Vela (Robert), Heather Alphonse, Adrienne Alphonse, and Raymond Alphonse. She was survived by 13 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Thelma Jordan Stock and Charles C. Stock, and sisters; Rita Crowell and Lorraine Saucier. Evelyn Taylor was a loving wife, mother, and wonderful homemaker. She took great joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Thursday, June 9th 2022 at 2:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, Louisiana 70001. Visitation will be 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Interment to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, her wishes were to donate to St. Jude Hospital https://www.stjude.org/
