Stephen Michael Lacoste

Stephen Michael Lacoste, 40, of Metairie, Louisiana, passed away on September 21, 2022.  Stephen was born October 6, 1981 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a graduate of Grace King High School and Louisiana Tech University, where he was a member of Sigma Pi Fraternity. Stephen was employed as an API inspector for Acuren Inspection, Inc. at the Chalmette Refinery. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Kristy Deist Lacoste; their beautiful children: Landon Joseph Lacoste (8), Logan Michael Lacoste (4), and Laney Elizabeth Lacoste (2); mother, Peggy Moreci Wurz (George); sister, Melissa Lacoste; brother, Frank Catalano (Stephanie); grandmother, Lorraine Lacoste; father-in-law, Ricky Deist (Madonna); and countless family members and friends.  He is preceded in death by his father Michael Henry Lacoste. 

Stephen was a faithful, Catholic man who devoted his life to spending his time with his wife, children, family and friends. He was a committed member of St. Benilde Mens' Club, Delta Consolidated Softball Team, and the Budweiser 504 Kazoo Band. Stephen was a kind, generous, hard-working and loving man who will be dearly missed by all of his loved ones.

Relatives and friends of Stephen are invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at St. Benilde Catholic Church, 1901 Division St. Metairie, LA 70001.
