Shirley Miller Reyes

Shirley Miller Reyes, born Sept. 1, 1933 in New Orleans, LA, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Shirley, quite simply, was the best wife, mother, relative and friend in the world! She knew no strangers. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Alfred Reyes Sr.; their daughter, TiJonne Reyes DiCarlo, her husband Dominick along with their sons: Joseph, Dominick, and John DiCarlo; a son, Alan Reyes, his wife Darlene and their children, Alan Jr. and Jacquelyn Reyes; a son, Alfred (A.J.) Reyes Jr., his wife Cherie and their children, Breelyn, Kasen, and Masen Reyes; and a son, John Reyes, his wife Donna and their sons, Ryan and Austin Reyes. Shirley also leaves behind five great grandchildren, Erica Graziosa, Nola and Sawyer Reyes and Kaine and Kasen Mendoza, Jr. along with her four sisters, Gayle, Patsy, Eva, and Marie and two brothers, Eddie and Bob.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment will be in the Garden Crypts Mausoleum located in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
