Shaylen Marie George

Shaylen Marie George gained her Angel Wings on Sunday, December 23rd, 2018 at the age of 23.  From the moment she was born on July 28th, 1995, she has been an absolute gift from God.  She touched everyone's heart with her beautiful and contagious smile that lit up any room.  Though she was born with cerebral palsey, she was very strong and lived a full, healthy and blessed life.  
Shaylen is survived by her amazing parents, Frank and Tonya George; her three sisters, Shelby, Sheridan, and Franki; her maternal grandfather, Harry Bush; her uncles: Mike, Shane and Kerry Migliore, John Macaluso, James George III, Rodney George and Robert Cockerham; her aunts: Ashley Macaluso, Gwen Hannah, Fredra Childress, Maggie George, Carol Mhoon, Dawn Cockerham, Minnie Migliore and Nancy Doubleday as well as many cousins that loved her dearly.  Shaylen was preceded in death by her grandparents, J. Gary Migliore, Judy Bush, and James George II; her great-grandparents, Marie and Vincent Migliore along with Maggie and Frank Shelby.
A Celebration of Shaylen's life will be held on Saturday,  January 5th at 11:30 am at  Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA 70001. Friends may start gathering at 10:30 am.
