Ruth Antoinette Manilia Sagona passed away on March 1,2018 at the age of 84. Wife of the late Robert J. “Bob” Sagona Sr., beloved mother of Ann S. Lorio (Ronald), Robert J. Sagona, Jr. (Janet), and Beau P. Sagona (Gretchen). Grandmother of Noel and Hannah Lorio, Drew, David and Dillon Sagona, and Daniel and Thomas Sagona. Daughter of the late Concetta “Anna” Purrazzello Manilia and Jack Manilia. Sister of the late Phillip Raymond Manilia. Godmother and beloved Nanan to Ruth Manilia Miller (Aaron) and Dawn Manilia Savoy (Ronnie). The family would like to thank the staff of Notre Dame Hospice and R & R Care Solutions for their love and support in caring for Mama. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA and the visitation will begin at 11:00 am until service time.
