Roy Dukes, Sr. passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the age of 70. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Betty A. Dukes; his loving children: Roy Dukes, Jr. (Lisa) and Larine Dukes Dauterive (Robert); 5 grandchildren: Katelyn E. Dukes, Kylie E. Dauterive, Haiden K. Dauterive, Madison Dukes Ainsworth (Matthew), and Cash A. Dukes; and one great-grandson, Nolan. He was preceded in death by his parents,Lloyd and Ella Cooper Dukes of Marksville, LA, and his 7 siblings: LLoyd Dukes, Jr., Grace Dukes Bush (Marion), Doris Dukes Antill (Donald), George Dukes, Sr., Marvin Dukes, GertrudeDukes Dauzat (Gary), and Steve Dukes. Roy was a former employee of Local 406 and the Jefferson Parish Surplus.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Garden of Memories Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive Metairie, LA 70001 on Friday, July 15, 2022.
