Rose Marie Ocasio

Rose Marie Ocasio passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020 at the age of 82.  She was preceded in death by her husband Pablo Ocasio, Sr.; her parents, Salvador Rotolo and  Leano Breaux Rotolo; her stepmother, Lucille D. Rotolo; a brother-in-law, Eugene Aucoin and a niece, Elizabeth Willick.
She was the loving mother of Pablo Ocasio Jr. (Deborah), Rose Marie Ocasio, Elizabeth Diket (Earl) and Johnny Ocasio (Regina). Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her grandchildren: Nelson Fontanez, Jr., Jennifer F. Seals, Nikta A. Ocasio, Christopher Ocasio and Charmaine A. Ocasio. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren: Toby B. Seals , Tristian M. Seals, Jordan M. Seals, Sophia Seals, Kira Ocasio, Julia Ocasio, Jermaih Ocasio and Larenzo Ocasio and four siblings, Ruth Rotolo Aucoin, Sam Rotolo (Joanna), Ruby Rotolo Willick (David), Myrna Rotolo Guillot (J.P.) and Lawrence “Larry” Rotolo, Sr. (Jackie) in addition to nieces and nephews: Todd Aucoin, Jacque Rotolo,  John Guillot, Paul Guillot; Lawrence Rotolo, Jr. and Robert Rotolo, Jr.  Rose was born in Marrero and was a longtime resident of New Orleans. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who lived to take care of her much-loved family.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at  Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA 70001 on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00. Interment will be in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum located in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
