Rita Guilbeau Naquin passed away on Friday August 25, 2017 at the age of 85 in her home surrounded by her family. She lived in St Rose for the past 41 years. 39 years of which were spent with her husband of 60 years, Donald Joseph Naquin who preceded her in death. She will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Roni Naquin Zanca, and was deeply loved by her grandson Tony Zanca, granddaughters Ashley Zanca and Melissa Woodring (preceded in death) And also her daughter Myra Smith. Great grandsons Derek Fawler and Jeremy Gunnells and Great grandsons Kevin and DJ Fawler. And those preceded in death her sister Viola Guilbeau Chalette, brothers Valex Guilbeau and Adam Guilbeau, parents Marie And David Guilbeau. And many nieces and nephews. She will also be sadly missed by her loving sitter of 4 years Mary Grant Who took wonderful care of her and she loved very much. She will be missed by all of us and will be forever loved in our hearts. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Thursday, August 31, 2017. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Rd, Destrehan, LA. Mass of Christian burial will begin at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Garden of Memories, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA.
