Raymond J. Delord

Raymond Joseph Delord, 90 years old, native of New Orleans and resident of Kenner, Louisiana passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, surrounded by his family. Raymond was a retiree of the United States Postal Service of Metairie, Louisiana. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Agnes Belongia Delord; his parents, Bernard Delord, Sr. and Luceta Hammel Delord; his brother, Bernard Delord, Jr.; and his sister, Shirley Phillips. He is survived by his sister, Joyce Melancon; his sons, Scott Morris Clapp (Debra) and Matthew Raymond Delord (Diane); and his grandchildren: Donna Hutchinson, Robert Hooper, Bradley and Alisha Delord, Dana Wood and Dustin Clapp. Raymond was the great-grandfather of Aaron, Robert Jr., Marleigh, Riley, Ryder, Ryan, and Beaux. We request all of Raymond’s loved ones to join us in celebrating his beautiful life at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home located at 3827 Canal St. New Orleans, LA 70119 on Friday, November 5, 2021. Visitation will be held from 10am-12:15pm followed by a Funeral Mass. Interment will be held at the Garden of Memories Cemetery located at 4900 Airline Dr. Metairie, LA 70001.
