Ramona Alaniz Galvez

Ramona A. Galvez passed away Wednesday morning November 25, 2020. Daughter of the late Jose Marie Alaniz and the late Romana Gaitan Alaniz. Ramona was born October 10, 1943, in Beeville, Texas with a family of 4 siblings. Juan A. (the late Patricia S. sister-in-law) Alaniz Sr., Eusevio (Nomey sister-in-law) Alaniz Sr., Mary A. (the late SeCundio brother-in-law) Garcia, Jose Luis Alaniz. 
     Ramona was a resident of Kenner from 1964-2020. Ramona was married to (the late Jose Abele Galvez) and had a family of 6 children. Diana G. (the late Kenny son-in-law) Hernandez, Abele Galvez, Daniel (Dana daughter-in-law) Galvez, Enrique Galvez, Alicia G. Bartholomew, Corrina G. (Troy son-in-law) Gibbs. 
     Ramona was a loving mother and hard worker. She was an employee of Kmart for 15 years, an employee of Jakes for 20 years, and a Homemaker for 32 years. Ramona had 9 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. And many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
     Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, La. 70001 on Monday, November 30, 2020. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until graveside service at 2:00 pm. Please note that due to the current State restrictions visitation is limited to a total of 150 people and masks must be worn.
