The sky above is a little brighter as our angel is now shining down on us. Our dear sweet boy, Parker Louis Kirkpatrick, is now free to fly with the angels. After a courageous journey of 10 years, Parker is free of pain and at peace in Jesus’ arms. His incredible strength and will has been our inspiration, our light, and our world. His smile will forever be imprinted on our hearts and souls. Parker is survived by his loving parents, Annette & Matthew Kirkpatrick; brother, Matthew Kirkpatrick Jr.; sister, Addison Kirkpatrick; grandparents, Grace & Joseph Riviere Jr., Jeanne Ingersoll, Elwood Woolledge, Jr., and Kirk Kirkpatrick (Resa); great-grandmother, Beverly Ingersoll; nanny, Christina Hux (Michael); godparents, Bonnie Riviere & Joseph Riviere III; uncles, Anthony Piazza and Ehren Woolledge; aunts, Jessica Brannan (Dan), Amanda Scott & Lauren Bourgeois (Jeremiah); cousins, JoJo Riviere IV, Jake & Josie Hux, and Grace Riviere; BFF, Michelle Ekiss; and numerous family and friends who adore him. The family would like to give a huge thank you to CHNOLA, Boston Children’s Hospital, Dr. Robert Ascuitto, PSA Healthcare & Heart of Health Hospice for their wonderful care of Parker.
A visitation will be held at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. On Friday, November 3, 2017, a visitation will be at St. Edward the Confessor, 4921 W. Metairie Avenue in Metairie, LA beginning at 10:00 am, with a Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon, and interment to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. All family and friends are welcome and invited to celebrate Parker!
