Nery Jimenez Rojas

Nery "Madi" Rojas Jimenez entered into internal peace on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Metairie Health Care Center. She was born in Orotina, Costa Rica to loving parents, Teresa Rojas and Antenor Jimenez. She was a devoted, loving, and caring second mother to Marco, Michael, Teresa, and Ronnie. Madi was always at ease with those around her and always had a kind word for others. Her devotion to the family brought many fond and cherished memories of outings, dinners, holidays, and occasional summers in Costa Rica. We pray that Madi's unselfish love for all, and in particular, the Carazo family, along with her devotion to Christ, places her soul next to our savior, Jesus Christ. We are very blessed to have such a wonderful woman touch our lives here on earth. God bless her soul. Her love, devotion, and beautiful memories have carried us through our grief. Rest in Peace Madi.

A memorial service for close family and friends will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 1908 Short St. in Kenner, LA on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:30 am followed by a celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Madi's name to the PHA (Pulmonary Hypertension Association) at phassociation.org.
