Naomi Benton Smith

Naomi Benton Smith passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at the age of 98. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Smith Jr. and the loving mother of Arthur J. Smith III (Brenda) and the late Naomi Benton Smith. Grandmother of Arthur J. Smith IV, Mallory M. Smith, and Brandon E. Smith. Daughter of the late Charles R. Benton and Naomi A. Benton. Sister of Mary Housand. She was a member of the former Canal St. Presbyterian Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive Metairie, LA 70001 on Monday, January 23, 2023. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with a service at 12:00 pm followed by burial. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Naomi’s name to American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
