Myrl Ann Jagot passed away peacefully on April 15, 2022, with her family and dear friend, Annie Bishop at her side. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Sayegh (late, Peter Oliver); former husbands, Salem Sayegh and Bryant Lee Faust. She is survived by her loving children, David Sayegh and Lisa Sayegh; siblings, Francis Jagot and nieces Paytonia Jagot Palafox and Theresa Jagot Tortorich.
She was a native New Orleanian and called Jefferson Parish her home for most of her life. She graduated from the Touro School of Nursing, then worked in the operating rooms of Ochsner and East Jefferson Hospitals. She retired from East Jefferson Hospital in 1996. Myrl had a strong sense of civic duty and volunteered as a pole worker in her local voting precinct for many years. She loved hosting family gatherings over good New Orleans food, traveling to Europe, and playing cards with her beloved card group at Nouveau Marc. She especially loved doting over her adorable Pekinese dogs, Monster and Kisses! She was loved by so many and will be missed dearly.
