Mitchell Duane Wilbanks

Mitchell Duane Wilbanks passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the age of 53. He was born in Oklahoma City, OK to Edgar and Linda Wilbanks. He had 3 children born during his marriage to Monique Young Wilbanks and was a loving father to Kinsey, Blaine, and Hayden Wilbanks. He is also survived by his siblings: Michael Wilbanks (Michelle), William Wilbanks, and Marie Wilbanks, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Mitchell was a avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and grilling. He was active with his children's activities and sports at St. Catherine of Siena and was a volunteer coach for FNA. He was a member of the St. Catherine of Siena Men's Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA 70001 on Friday, January 27, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Funeral services will take place at St. Catherine of Siena, 105 Bonnabel Blvd. Metairie, LA 70005 on Saturday, January 28, 2022 with visitation beginning at 9:30 am and a Funeral Mass starting at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Metairie, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Mitchell's name to the St. Catherine Men's Club, 105 Bonnabel Blvd. Metairie, LA 70005.
