Mildred Mae O'Brien Cannon

Mildred Mae O'Brien Cannon, 92 years old, became one with her husband and joined our Lord and Savior in their everlasting home on Thursday, December 30, 2021. She was a Mandeville resident and member of First Baptist Church of Mandeville and was a former resident of Kenner and member of Williams Boulevard Baptist Church for 35 years. She is and will always be greatly loved and sadly missed by her two sons, Royce Edwin Cannon, Sr. and Calvin Ray Cannon; 10 grandchildren: Christopher Ahrens, Cindy Lynn Cannon, Royce Cannon, Jr. (Julie), Jennifer Moll (Michael), Stacey Battistella (Leo), Dawn Walker, Lauren Ashley Hosey (Bryan), Craig Leonard (Misty), Jaime Leonard, Melissa Leonard; and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Royce Lavern Cannon, and her daughter, Doris Lynn Ahrens.
A private ceremony will be held to celebrate her life on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Arrangements are under the care of Garden of Memories Funeral Home & Cemetery.
