To the family of Michael Bourgeois : To lose someone in death, is never easy. Whether you are rich poor, young, or old, we are all affected. I found comfort in a beautiful verse at Isiah 25:8(he will swallow up death forever). Just to think, death will be done away with. I will continue to pray that you receive a lot of encouragement and comfort as you heal.

My sincerest condolences for the family and friends of Mike. Though I knew him only briefly, his warm spirit and dry humor made him instantly memorable and someone I was excited to get to know. I’ve heard nothing but good things about him and am honored to have been able to call him a friend. My heart goes out to those reading this and the people who were so deeply affected by this tragedy. It is a testament to his character that so many of us are grieving for the loss of such a great man.
