Mercedes "Totsy" Fucci

We’re heartbroken to announce the death of Mercedes “Totsy” Fucci. She passed at her home peacefully while surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. She was 83. She was predeceased by her parents, sister, loving husband, Johnny and daughter, Donna. She will be missed each and every day by her children: Mark, Vicki, Matt, and Chrissi; her grandchildren: Eric, Dean, Nick, Mark, Layne, Matthew, Brandon, Hailey, Sadie, and Annabel and her great-grandchildren: Brandon, Jared, and Mikayla. She will also be missed by many more family members and friends who would all agree what a beautiful, lovely soul she was. Totsy was truly loved and appreciated by anyone lucky enough to meet her. She carried herself with complete grace and kindness that most will never forget. She was absolutely gorgeous – both inside and out. The world will not be the same without her. We love and miss you already.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 12:15 PM at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. in New Orleans, LA 70119. Visitation will begin at 10:45 AM. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
