Mark Tracy Rogers, born June 19, 1963, passed away unexpectedly on September 20, 2017 at the age of 54.

Mark was preceded in death by his father Marvin Tracy Rogers and is survived by his mother Marilyn Ketteringham Rogers. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Charlotte Collette Rogers, his son Brandon Rogers, and his daughter Jennifer Rogers. Mark is also survived by his siblings Jeanne Rogers Barras (Mike), Timothy John Rogers, and Julie Anne Rogers. He leaves behind a host of loving nieces, nephews, and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Mark was born in New Orleans and was a lifelong resident of Metairie, LA. He worked for NOPSI and Entergy for 36 years. An avid hunter and fisherman, Mark loved being outdoors. He was an excellent cook, and he enjoyed working in his garden. His passion for life was exceeded only by his adoration for his children, and he took great pleasure in watching them participate and excel in everything they put their heart into. A consummate family man, Mark placed his wife Charlotte on a pedestal, and he has cherished her every day since they fell in love as teenagers. Above all, Mark put everybody above himself, and that is the way he will always be remembered.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 1:00 PM and the visitation will begin at 9:00 am until service time.
