Marion Harrell Dalton

Marion Ruth Harrell Dalton passed away at the age 93 on January 25, 2023. She was born on June 21, 1929 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Frances Saccaro Harrell and Charles Lott Harrell. Marion was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 67 years, William B. Dalton. She is survived by her son, Charles Harrell Dalton (Linda Simone Dalton); her two grandchildren, Jennifer Dalton McGuinness (Patrick McGuinness) and Jessica Dalton Woodward (Shawn Woodward); and four great grandchildren: Emmy Kate Woodward, Brynn Mamie Woodward, Mamie Elizabeth McGuinness and James Dalton McGuinness.
Marion and Bill loved to take long road trips traveling across the United States and would sometimes be gone for weeks visiting its natural wonders. Marion enjoyed working in her garden and was especially fond of roses and succulents. She loved dogs, cats and all animals. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be deeply missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA 70001 on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
