Mario Quant

Mario Jose Quant Cheng passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the age of 76. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Reina Hernandez Quant, his previous wife, Nancy Lo Quant; loving children, Nancy Lauland (Dennis), Jonathan Quant (Erin) and Bibi Quant (Osman Mendez); seven grandchildren; four sisters, Sofia Tung, Maria Carlisle, Cecilia Quant and Luisa Quant along with a brother, Victor Quant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horacio Quant and Ana Cheng and his brother, Horacio Quant.
Mario loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was always up for a good game of chess and enjoyed dancing, cooking, watching movies and enjoyed indulging in a meal of international cuisine.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30 am at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie.
