Maria Carmen Sevilla passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family on Wednesday September 27, 2017. She was a devoted wife to Josè Sevilla for 66 wonderful fulfilling years. She is survived by her loving children Mayra Lowrie (Thomas), Miguel Sevilla, Nèstor Sevilla (Irilene), Carmen Schneider (Luis), 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Managua, Nicaragua on April 1, 1924, she was a resident of Metairie, Louisiana for 30 years. Carmen was a long time Parishioner and a Eucharistic Minister at Saint Clement of Rome in Metairie, Louisiana. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Monday, October 2 at 11:00 am and the visitation will begin at 9:00 am until service time.
