Marguerite Ann Daroca passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the age of 71. She was born in New Orleans, LA to the late Paul Alfred Daroca and Marguerite McCrain Daroca. She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Paul Alfred Daroca and Joyce Daroca Swindler; and her nephew, Robert “Bobby” Daroca.
Marguerite is survived by Barbara Jatho Patenotte, Raymond Patenotte, Ethan Patenotte, Edward Larkin, Edgar W. Jatho, Norwood E. Jatho, Donna Daroca Gates, Linda Daroca, Charles Paul Daroca, Paula Daroca Meazell, Joey Radabaugh, numerous great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Marguerite was a diehard New Orleans Saints fan and a LSU fanatic. She retired from the City of New Orleans Assessors Office after 35 years of service.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Friday, February 2, 2018. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 Noon with a Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund at www.kidneyfund.org.
