Lynn B. McKearan

Lynn Broussard McKearan passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the age of 87. She was born on December 23, 1930 in New Orleans and was a longtime resident of Metairie. Lynn graduated from Sacred Heart High School and attended Soule Business School. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. McKearan, Sr.; her infant son, James W. McKearan, Jr.; and her parents, Ophey and Malvina Foret Broussard.
Lynn is survived by her children: Patricia McKearan Dunn (Larry), Mary Anne McKearan (Howard Heno), Terrance McKearan (Karen), Brian McKearan, and Neil McKearan (Diane); her grandchildren: Ethan Dunn (Rhean), Caleb McKearan, Daniel McKearan, and Melynda McKearan; and her brother, Richard W. Broussard.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Saturday, July 7, 2018. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with a Funeral Mass officiated by Fr. Beau Charbonnet at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Flowers are appreciates or the family requests to honor Lynn's memory by paying it forward with an act of kindness to a stranger.
