Luis Francisco Gonzalez

Luis Francisco González passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the age of 73.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fanor Gonzalez and Albertina Mosquera of Nicaragua.
Luis is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Candida R. González; his children: Jorge L. González (Mariza), Melvin F. González (Maria) and Victorino A. González (Ivania); grandchildren: Jessica, Alejandro, Tita, Luis, Victor, Eduardo, Melvincito; great grandson, Ronnie; and his brother, Jorge A. González (Martna).
Luis earned a Master’s Degree in Chemistry and was a lifelong learner. He enjoyed playing with his grandkids and great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, Louisiana 70001, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Please note that due to the current State restrictions visitation is limited to a total of 150 people and a face cover must be worn.
