Louise F. "Bunny" Carrone

Louise F. "Bunny" Carrone went to be home with the Lord on Friday, October1, 2021 at the age of 88 surrounded by her children. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, D.C. Nick Carrone; her son, Rick Carrone; and her grandson, Chris Lankston. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Lt. Arthur Follette and Grace Holden Follette; and five sisters: Iva Taquino, Grace Azcona, Harriet Burga, Audrey Redden and Carol Siragusa. Bunny is survived by her children: Brenda Hannula (Barry), Linda Gullo (Joe), daughter-in-law Joan Carrone, and David Carrone (Maria). She was the loving grandmother of Heather, Melissa, Brian, Michael, Brandon and Elizabeth and great grandmother of Nathan, Luke, Emily, Rachel, Hannah, John, Augie, Zoe, Brylie, Caden and Bethany.
Bunny was born in Bradford, PA in 1933 and came to New Orleans at the age of five. It was there she met the love of her life, Nickie. They were married for 54 years before the Lord called him home. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Kenner for over 30 years. She loved cooking, gardening and feeding the birds in her yard.
Relatives, friends of the family, and members of FBCK are invited to attend the funeral services at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. Metairie, LA 70001 on Monday, October 11, 2021. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. with a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
