Louis Edward White, Jr. was born on January 27, 1945, to the union of Gracie Bowman and Louis Edward White, Sr. Louis is the eldest of six grandchildren. He was educated in the New Orleans Public School system. Louis graduated from Booker T. Washington and Southern University in New Orleans. He served honorably in the US Navy and US Army 82nd Airborne Rangers. Louis is a 32nd degree Mason. Louis was cynically and socially active in Jefferson Parish, LA and was involved with many groups for social justice and equality. He served as the Director of Employment and training. Later with his wife and partner he established Summa Management Service. Louis was an ordained minister serving in many church capacities except Pastor. Louis Jr. is the loving father of Louis White III (deceased), Sean Ward White, Rashaan Ahmad White (deceased), and Meshan Samantha White. The grandfather of Eldrick Louis Washington. He married Mary Hughes (Rashaan). He later divorced and then married Miranda Deborah Brown White (Meshan). Louis Jr. was preceded in death by his mother and father, Gracie B. and Louis White Sr., one brother, Theoplious White, one sister, Joyce White Gardner, his devoted aunt Mary Louise Taylor (Nanny). His wife Miranda Brown. Two sons Louis Edward White III and Rashaan A. White. Louis is survived by one son, Sean Tyrone White and one daughter, Meshan White. A grandson, Eldrick Louis Washington. One brother Michael Gerard White Sr. (Lolita), two sisters, Cythia Rhea (Larry) and Beverly White. A daughter in law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and dear friends. A companion, Willie Mae Ware. All members of Kenner Calvary Baptist Church, New Testament Baptist Bible Center, Shiloh Baptist Church of Gretna, and Bala Chitto of Magnolia Mississippi are invited to attend.
