Louella Hymel Rini peacefully passed away on October 24, 2017, at the age of 93.  She was the devoted wife of the late Dominick Rini for 58 years and the loving mother and mother-in-law of Patricia Rini Richard and husband Arthur, Thomas Joseph Rini and wife Nima, and Victor Joseph Rini.  She was blessed with five granddaughters: Teresa Kanewske (husband Thomas), Katie Jacob (husband Matthew), Elizabeth Schnaubelt (husband Andrew), Laura Richard, and Christine Rini.  She was GG to three beautiful great-grandchildren: Ella and Cooper Jacob and Ethan Kanewske.  Louella was the daughter of the late Louis Joseph Hymel and Otillia Bauer Hymel, twin sister of the late Louis Joseph Hymel, Jr., sister of the late Gloria Miller and the late Andrew Joseph Hymel and George Joseph Hymel.  She is survived by her loving sisters Grace Keller and Gertrude Burke and numerous nieces and nephews.  Louella was a joyful person who always did her best to bring joy to others too.  We will miss her beautiful smile. The family wishes to express deep gratitude to the entire Sunrise of Metairie Reminiscence team for their devoted care during the past four years. 
Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. in St. Edward the Confessor Church, 4921 W. Metairie, followed by a funeral Mass at noon on Saturday, November 4, 2017.  Burial will follow at Garden of Memories on Airline Highway.  Arrangements by Garden of Memories.
