Lawrence Lynch Jr.

Lawrence (Larry) R. Lynch Jr. passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the age of 82. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence R. Lynch Sr. and Thelma Boudreaux Lynch; spouse, Patricia Kaiser Lynch and sister, Elizabeth Lynch Maheu (Ivan). He is survived by his loving children, Lawrence (Ricky) R. Lynch III (Denise), Laurie L. Firmin (Mark), Timothy M. Lynch (Michelle), Pamela L. Geraci (Paul) and Thomas M. Lynch. Also survived by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren with one on the way; also survived by companion, Fay Doucet.
Mr. Lynch was a Mechanical Engineer and worked at Fairbanks Morse/Coltec Industries as a sales engineer for most of his career. He was also part owner of Lynch’s Construction and served as a Harahan Alderman. He was active in St. Rita’s Dads Club and Soniat Playground for many years. He was a Tulane Green Wave and New Orleans Saints ticket holder and loved attending these games. Larry was a great Dad, Paw, Uncle and friend. He had a big heart and was loved by everyone he met.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Garden of Memories Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive Metairie, LA 70001 on Friday, March 5, 2021. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with a service starting at 12:00 noon followed by burial.
