Kent, a Mariner Captain employed by SeaTran Marine, had a big heart for everyone; he was always generous in lending a hand to anyone in need. He demonstrated his love for family by actions and his joy by spending time with the grandchildren. He took time to teach by example including hunting, fishing, being there for field trips, birthdays, and even “first day” of school. “PawPaw” was always available for the kids’ phone calls; they knew he would answer. He was “there” always for family – never any excuses! Kent was “one of a kind.” He was loved by all and will be missed by everyone.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in the Neuro Critical Care ICU at Oshner Hospital in New Orleans. The family requests that any donations be made in Kent’s name to Burgess Road Baptist Church, Wednesday Night Fundraiser Meal.
