Kelly Renee Bennett

Kelly Renee Bennett, age 34, of Destrehan, left this world unexpectedly on Saturday, April 30, 2022. Our Hearts are Broken Forever. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Michael Chisholm of Norco, LA; her beloved children: Layla Bennett of Destrehan, LA and Aiden & Emma Chisholm of Norco, LA; her loving mother, Sheila Christine Bramlett (Joe) and her loving father, Brian Keith Bennett, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Patricia Bramlett; sister, Sarah Bennett (James); brother, Brian Bennett, Jr. (Katie); and cousin, Jason Bramlett. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Alex Bramlett and paternal grandparents, Dorothy Tullis Bennett & Bill Bennett. Kelly was a beloved Daughter, Sister, Mother, Niece, Cousin, & Friend.
Kelly grew up in Destrehan, LA, and attended Destrehan High School where she enjoyed participating in choir and pep squad. Kelly leaves behind 3 children that she Loved and Adored. She wanted nothing more than for them to have a wonderful life. Kelly lived life her way. When Kelly walked into a room, you couldn’t help but notice her thick curly hair, big green eyes, and beautiful smile. Kelly loved music, most recently hip hop & rap. She also enjoyed arts & crafts, cooking, and baking special cakes for birthdays and weddings of friends & family. Kelly enjoyed riding with her Dad on his motorcycle. Growing up Kelly collected Beanie Babies, Holiday Barbies, & loved reading the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series. Kelly was beautiful, talented, and smart and we will miss her, the sound of her voice, and her laugh every day.
When you think of Kelly, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile & should be lived to the fullest. Her soul is finally at rest.
