On Friday March 22, 2024 Karen Uzzetta grew the angel wings most knew she already had. She attended St. Rosale in Harvey, LA and Grace King High School in Metairie, LA. She was many things to many people, including a wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother. She was most of all loving, caring, and giving to a fault sometimes. As her last act of love she donated her organs so others may have a chance to live and love as she did. She was a blessing to an army of children who, when in need, knew they could always count on Momma K.
She was the mother of two sons, an adopted son, and grandmother of one perfect little boy who was her world. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 18 years. She had a love of dance and music of all types. Her occupational history was also a collection of things. From server to property manager, veterinarian technician, body shop estimator, and in-home elder care giver. Everything she did was from the heart and with dedication and love. She was the most loving and caring person, even if that meant being harsh and honest. All this while being humble and selfless.
She is preceded in death by her Adoptive Parents; Geoff & Sherry Chichiester.
She is survived by her husband, Dante Uzzetta. Sons: Alexander Medina, Kade Keller, Hunter Pena-Uzzetta, and Mitchel Wingard. Grandson: Alexander “Xander” Medina Jr. (Hopefully to be) Daughter-in-Laws: Alysia DiMaggio(Alex) & Emily Hoffman(Kade). Her sister, Amy Chichester Tujague, nephew, Zachary and nieces, Sara and Angelina and her brother, Randy Jordan (Sharon) nieces, Selena and Eva. Parents: Lewis Moran, Chrystianne Herrera.
A legion of young adults who were in some way touched by her love
