September 30, 1931 ~ July 28, 2017 (age 85) 85 Years Old
June Liebel LeGuluche, of Jefferson, LA, passed away on July 28th, 2017. June was born on September 13, 1931, and graduated from Eleanor McMain High School. Upon graduating, she was employed by the Department of Social Services in New Orleans. In 1951, she wed her beloved husband of 66 years, John LeGuluche. After leaving her job in Social Service, she became a wonderful mother and homemaker. June was a loyal and active member of St. John Evangelical and Reformed Church and Good Shepherd United Church of Christ. She served on the church council and performed the duties of financial treasurer for many years. In addition, she eagerly took the opportunity to serve God and her church as a representative of the New Orleans Association for the United Church of Christ. Throughout the years, June taught Sunday school, served as the Sunday School Superintendent, as well as the Good Shepherd Vacation Bible School Director. Her life was fulfilled with various other church activities such as Women’s Guild, Craft Class, and Church Volleyball.
An original member of the Who Dat Nation, June was one of the first Saints season ticket holders, eagerly attending all games for 50 years. Over the years as she raised her three children, she spent much of her time volunteering at Jefferson Playground. She was also a proud member of the Krewe of Isis carnival organization and the AARP. As a patriotic American and a New Orleanian to her core, June was an avid collector of stamps, coins, and Mardi Gras doubloons.    June is survived by her 3 children, John LeGuluche (Sue), Jewel LeGuluche Perrett (Bill), and Jim LeGuluche (Terri); her 9 grandchildren, Chris LeGuluche (Melissa), Amanda Perrett Keller (Warren), Jennifer Perrett Galiouras (Jules), Matthew LeGuluche (Alexis), Sarah LeGuluche Shaffer (Jared), Julie Perrett Vitrano (Daniel), Erin LeGuluche, Andrew LeGuluche, and Ryan LeGuluche; and her 10 great-grandchildren.
