Jude H. Trahant

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service for Jude H. Trahant on Saturday March 13th at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive Metairie, LA 70001. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a service at 11:00 am.

Jude H. Trahant, age 81, left this world to meet his maker on January 27, 2021. Loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and dear friend to many. Jude was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Kenner, LA. He attended St. Anthony, graduated from Jesuit High School in 1958, and attended LSUNO. He was a very loving big hearted man who could make friends easily with his outgoing personality. He was a licensed amateur radio operator (NSNGC) who enjoyed talking to his friends and people around the world and attending Hamm Fest. Jude enjoyed spending time with his wife, Sarah, traveling around the world seeing sites they both enjoyed. Jude was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Nellie Trahant, and his niece, Christen. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Sarah Wyatt Trahant; his three sons: Jude Jr. (Jaime), Kevin (Debi), and Richard (Amy); two daughters, Jane Murphy and Susan Heusel (Neil); 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his sister, Gaynel Klein (Lou); and his nephew, Louis.
