Joyce Marie McKay

Joyce Rowe McKay passed away January 29, 2019 at the age of 76. She leaves behind her loving husband of 12 years, Bobby; children, Kristine Jurado (Saul); daughter-in-law, Patricia; stepchildren, Julie Rexford (Joseph), Bobby McKay, Jr. (Cindy) and John McKay (Sacha); grandchildren, Jamie Bordelon (Rene), Justin Jurado (Chelsie), Christopher Rowe, Brent Rowe, Sr.; eight step-grandchildren; three great grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren, and nephew, Daniel Lowery Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Roger J. Rowe; son, Bryan Rowe; grandson, Chase Rowe and parents, Lawrence and Ada Firmin.
Joyce worked at Kmart as a personnel manager, where she retired after 25 years. She loved playing with her grandchildren, camping, gardening, and looked forward to eating out with her friends on the weekends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, February 1, 2019, at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, Louisiana 70001. The visitation will begin at 10:30 am with the service beginning at 1:00 pm; Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
