Josue Joseph DeKerlegand

Josue Joseph DeKerlegand, eldest son of the late Elza and Maria Robin DeKerlegand of Arnaudville, LA went home to his final resting place with his Lord and Savior on December 17, 2021 at 97 years of age. He was a native of Arnaudville and resident of Hammond. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Judith Ann Marengo DeKerlegand; two daughters, Ann Marie Pesinger (Chris), Lisa Martinez (Bill-Deceased), and two sons, Douglas DeKerlegand and Brian Dekerlegand (Stephanie). He was blessed with 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and an abundance of nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews and numerous friends. He had one brother, Dewey DeKerlegand (Deceased) and three sisters, Mary Mae (Deceased), Annie Bel (Deceased) and Genevieve Smith who currently resides in Bogalusa. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was blessing to all who knew him.
