Joseph Gerard Simpson

Joseph G. Simpson passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the age of 89. He was born in New York and resided in Harahan. He is preceded in death by his wife, Annette Rivette Simpson; Parents, Harry Simpson and Mildred Nally. Survived by his beloved children, Michael Simpson (Winona), Laura Simpson and Kathy Simpson; grandchildren Tommy Rinehart, James Simpson, Eddie Simpson, Robert Forigh, Tommy Higginbotham, Paul Higginbotham, Ashley Blyth and Emma Frodigh. Also survived by 17 Great-grandchildren and Sister Patricia Berg. He was a retired Army Veteran and New York police officer.
Family and Friends are invited to attend the services on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. Metairie, LA. 70001. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM with a service at 12:00 PM. Interment will be immediately after at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA. 70001.
