Jose Miguel Sevilla passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on Wednesday December 27, 2017. He was a devoted husband to the late Maria Carmen Sevilla for 66 wonderful fulfilling years. He is survived by his loving children Mayra Lowrie (Thomas), Miguel Sevilla, Nèstor Sevilla (Irilene), Carmen Schneider (Luis), 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Chontales, Nicaragua on May 8, 1919, he was a resident of Metairie, Louisiana for 30 years. Jose was a long time Parishioner and a Eucharistic Minister at Saint Clement of Rome in Metairie, Louisiana, and was an Accountant. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 1:00 pm and the visitation will begin at 11:00 am until service time.
