John Vernon Feilden, an employee of ESP Receivables Management, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at the age of 46. He is survived by his parents, Judith A. Cormier and John Thompson Feilden, Jr.; his stepfather, Raymond A. Cormier, Jr.; his sister, Erin D. Cormier; his paternal step grandmother, Esther Feilden and his aunt, Joan Serpas. He is also survived by his cousins, Shane Serpas (Felicia) and their stepdaughter, Maggie Diaz and Justin Serpas and his son, Thomas Serpas. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John Thompson Feilden, Sr. and Dorothea Bordes Feilden; his maternal grandparents, Vernon B. Serpas, Sr. and Delores A. Serpas and his uncle and godfather, Vernon B. Serpas, Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm. Interment will be in St. John Mausoleum located in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
