To my truly amazing, big brother. Thank you for always being there for me and being an amazing role model. You were so inspiring for so many people in so many ways your whole life. You showed so much courage and fought the way you wanted to all the way to the end. I'm so proud of you Jerry and the amazing legacy you leave behind in your 2 sons, Brandon and Trey. I will miss you every day. Keep your smile beaming and your guardian angel wings flying over all your loved ones, until we meet again.

My brother, I miss you so much. My heart hurts that you are no longer here. I will find comfort knowing you are with us always, watching from above. You have so much to be proud of. You left an amazing legacy for your boys that we all know they will follow. You are the definition of resilient. I love you forever and always big brother. ♡ Your littlest sister

We're deeply saddened and pray for your hearts to heal Trey, Brandon and the rest of the Hoard family. Jerry was like another son/brother in our family. We were fortunate to spend time together whenever Jerry was in Phoenix. Jerry was always smiling and brought joy into the lives of those he met. He was always there to lend a hand when one was needed. Jerry was so proud of his family especially for Branding and Trey. His love for his family and friends never wavered.

Jerry stayed strong throughout his diagnosis and never once gave up on the fight. Not once during a phone call would you even know he was sick. We're going to miss Jerry but we know he's home safely with our dear Savior and Lord Jesus resting peacefully.

Love,
Cheryl & Ed

Jerry, you are an amazing son, father, husband, uncle, cousin and friend to so many people and I love and miss you so much! I am in awe of your willpower, strength, determination, and the incredible legacy you have left. Never have I known anyone who fought harder to live, who approached a diagnosis like you were handed 14 months ago and did so without a compliant, without bitterness and remained absolutely positive throughout. You set the standard on how to deal with a terminal disease, fight like crazy and go out your way. Tributes to your loving, caring, peaceful and gentle nature are pasted from dozens and dozens of people who knew you at all stages of your life. You are a GOOD man and I am so very proud to call you my son Jerry. We will meet again some day, meanwhile please be that special Guardian Angel to your sons and all of the rest of your NOLA family, and for all of your Colorado, Utah and Montana family! I know that is a tall request, but I also know that you can and will handle it. Feel the love we are all sending up Son, we continue to feel your love here. Bye for now, CYA later Jerry!
